Secretary of Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development of Mr Mr. K. D. S. Ruwanchandra, Director General of Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Mr. Prasanna Ginige and sevaral officers of Ministry of Fisheries was also participated for the occasion.
The website provides on various information of the services provided by DFAR, latest standards for fisheries management, publications, regulations, list of service providers registered with the department, alerts and contact information of key officers of DFAR. Additionally information related for fisheries education are also available.
